When a Song Wins

Sometimes you just want to get it done! For some time now I'm trying to finish a song. One special song. A song that in a part is telling me to go on a certain direction. But then there's a voice saying we should go the opposite way. And then there I am in the middle... Struggling...suffering... Because the creative process sometimes can be hard... Very hard. And then I think, I will not go in one or another direction. I'll go both ways. One at a time. And then we all can move on to the next song.

Hi.
A person that has been involved in the music and media industry like me, for a while, and as made the transition from the analog to the digital world, is used to write music, play, record, mix, master, remix etc...etc...etc...
 We come to a point were people ask you, what you do? And if they understand how it works is easy to explain, but for most people is just, confusing....
So, with that in mind and to try to make it simple, I've "created" what I think can put all those roles in the same "bag" and appeal to the most important thing that is involved in any artistic procedure, being creative.
That's how I came up with what I'll call myself (at least till I invent something else):

Vocal compositing or 'comping'

Hi. Yesterday I made some vocal comping of pre-recorded vocals for a song that I'm producing. In fact it's the best and safest way to achieve better vocals, even if it means more work. Some truly gifted singers can make a magic take, and that's it. But that's rare, even for world renowned singers. The digital world made everything easier for them. But somebody still as to make all the work of listening and choosing the best parts of each take. Sometimes is just a word, other it's a phrase. But we are committed to deliver the best vocal performance that we can. Because that's the most important part of a song. Because that's what you'll be humming or singing. Or even better you can just shout out loud that one phrase that will change your life. And that's what's magic about music. The power to change. Stay happy. Peace and Love. Hindie

Back to the Studio

Hey there! I'm back to where I love to be... In the studio. It was a short break, but sometimes is good to just stop and see things from a different angle. I'm working on some dance tracks. I'm writing and producing a dance track for a male singer, and I hope I can give news about that soon... Need to take some bureaucracy out of my way first... This track is Hindie Ft (...) and I will release it, unless a label come along and want´s to sign it... Waiting. But I hope next week I can give more info on this subject... Besides that all is good.
